Refund policy
At Melchior, we are committed to delivering products of the highest quality and ensuring they reach you in perfect condition. Every order is carefully inspected, packed, and shipped with the utmost care.
As our products undergo strict quality checks before dispatch, we generally do not accept returns or offer refunds. However, if you receive a product that is damaged, defective, broken during transit, or if an incorrect product is delivered, we will gladly assist you in accordance with the policy below.
1. Eligibility for Return & Refund
A return and refund request will only be accepted under the following circumstances:
- Product received is damaged during transit.
- Product received is defective or broken at the time of delivery.
- Incorrect product delivered.
Requests for returns or refunds due to change of mind, personal preference, dislike of the product, or ordering the wrong item will not be accepted.
2. How to Request a Return & Refund
To initiate a return and refund request, please contact our customer support team at helpdesk@melchior.in within 24 hours of receiving your order.
Please provide the following:
- Clear photographs showing the damage or defect.
- An unboxing video clearly showing the condition of the package and product.
- Images of the original packaging and shipping label.
- Your order number and registered contact details.
Providing complete information helps us process your request quickly and efficiently.
3. Verification Process
Once we receive your request along with the required proof, our team will carefully review and verify the details.
The verification process may take 1–2 working days.
After verification is completed, you will be informed about the status of your request.
Melchior reserves the right to decline any request where the submitted evidence is insufficient or where the damage appears to have occurred after delivery due to misuse, improper handling, or negligence.
4. Return & Refund Process
If your request is approved:
- Our team may arrange a reverse pickup depending on your serviceable location.
- If reverse pickup is unavailable, you may be requested to self-ship the product as instructed by our support team.
- The product must be securely packed in its original packaging before being returned.
Once the returned product is received and successfully passes our quality inspection, your refund will be initiated.
Refunds are generally processed within 5–7 working days after successful verification and receipt of the returned product.
The refund will be credited to the original mode of payment used while placing the order. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take additional time for the amount to reflect in your account.
5. Return Conditions
To be eligible for a return and refund:
- The product must be unused and in its original condition.
- The original packaging, tags, accessories, certificates, and complimentary items (if any) must be intact and returned along with the product.
- The product must not show any signs of use, wear, alteration, misuse, or damage after delivery.
Return and refund requests will not be approved if:
- The product has been used or altered.
- The damage is caused by improper handling, negligence, or misuse after delivery.
- The request is raised after the 24-hour reporting period.
- Required proof such as photographs or an unboxing video is not provided.
6. Non-Returnable Items
Products delivered in good condition are not eligible for return or refund.
For hygiene, quality assurance, and product safety reasons, returns and refunds are only accepted if the product is received damaged, defective, broken, or incorrect.
7. Order Cancellation
Orders may only be cancelled before they have been processed or dispatched.
Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled and will be covered under this Return & Refund Policy.
